Our advice is to use your fly with HookSure Floatant until it is saturated and can no longer be re-floated. At this point, change your fly.

We do not make or recommend using dry fly powders or desiccants that contain fumed silica.

Fumed silica can be an irritant, and ongoing exposure is linked with lung fibrosis.

It's simpler and safer to just attach a new fly.
