While flow rates aren't a factor in the sea, other environmental considerations are crucial. Here's how to maximize your HookSure effectiveness:

• Tides & Currents: Tides and currents play a significant role in fish behaviour. Consider applying HookSure attractants just before a tide change to create a lingering scent trail that attracts fish moving with the current.
• Depth & Water Clarity: Sea conditions vary dramatically. In deep, clear water, strong HookSure aromas can travel further, attracting fish from afar. In shallower or murky water, opt for subtler scents, with heavier applications
• Target Species: Different fish species have varying preferences. Research your target and choose HookSure attractants accordingly. 

HookSure HBA works excellently in marine environments as the wax base provides longer lasting attraction. However, while we do not recommend HookSure Emergence or Underworld, we have received positive feedback from our customers on this products marine performance.
